End of tour - November 22, 2006
Yes, hello.
Here we go, blog-time! Ok, right. Blog. Yes. Right. Well, I've, er, yes, er, I've been to some places on my tour. For example, Bath. Yes, that was quite nice. Cambridge, also nice. I got a death threat in Bournemouth, but I don't want to talk about that for 2 reasons. 1. I don't want the guy who gave me it to think it got to me enough to write about it on my website. And 2, it's looking like a nice new 'bit' in my show, so I don't want to tell you what really happened now, and then in 6 months time you hear it completely fabricated on stage and go, "hang on! that's not what happened at all!"
I've now finished the tour, so I'm spending a bit of time in my flat in edinburgh watching the West Wing which is really very good. I've got some shows on in Prague at the end of the month, then in December, I'm going to visit my old pal John Oliver in New York (who earlier this year landed a job on The Daily Show, jammie bastard!)
Here are some photos I took recently of my favourite place in the whole world. Can you guess where it is? I'll tell you in the next blog. Oh, I've got a myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/dbhoy) whatever that is. It's being run by my management company Fox In The Snow, so I've really got nothing to do with it, but you might want to check it out? Apparently, you can become one of my 'friends', which is nice, but don't take that as an invitation to turn up on my doorstep with a bottle of lambrusco and buckaroo...You need to be formally invited to those evenings.
